about cci
A childhood cancer diagnosis impacts the entire family, requiring care that extends far beyondmedical treatment. Childhood Cancer International (CCI) is the global, parent-driven voice forthese families, representing over 200 organizations in more than 100 countries.
Our Asia region is a vibrant network of 54 member organizations across 26 countries. In collaboration with international partners, CCI is dedicated to reducing childhood cancer deaths, advancing cures, ensuring equitable access to care, and advocating for the rights of children with cancer. We believe that concerted global action is essential for achieving life-changing gains.
Message from the CCI ASIA Chair A Partnership for Every Child's Future
Dear Friends and Colleagues,
On behalf of Childhood Cancer International Asia, I am honoured to welcome you to this historic joint congress, where the voices of NGOs in Asia representing patients, survivors, and families stand shoulder-to-shoulder with clinicians and researchers. This collaboration between SIOP Asia and CCI Asia marks a powerful evolution in how we confront pediatric cancer across our region.
Asia bears the greatest burden of childhood cancer globally, yet too often, the lived experiences of families remain absent from the decisions that shape their children's care. This congress challenges that silence. We are here to ensure that science serves humanity—that protocols are designed with empathy, that survivorship includes quality of life, and that no family faces this journey alone.
Mongolia embodies the resilience we celebrate in our community: nomadic strength translated into modern determination. As advocates, we bring the urgency of now and the wisdom of experience. Whether you represent a parent organisation, a survivor network, or a foundation, your voice is essential here.
Join us in Ulaanbaatar not just to witness change, but to demand it. Together, we transform compassion into cure.

Message from the CCI ASIA Conference Co-Chair Bridging Science and Humanity
As Childhood Cancer International (CCI) Asia Co-Chair, I am honoured to welcome you to this new chapter of collaboration between SIOP Asia and CCI Asia. This partnership represents more than a joint conference — it reflects a shared commitment to truly integrated care, where science and humanity meet.
This unified platform symbolises our belief that progress happens when clinical excellence and lived experience walk side by side. When researchers listen to families, when clinicians hear survivor voices, and when advocates understand evidence, we build systems of care that are not only effective, but compassionate and sustainable.
Our region is rich in diversity, resilience, and innovation. From LMIC to HIC contexts, every voice brings value, every perspective strengthens solutions. This conference is a space for learning, sharing, and shaping the future of childhood cancer care together.
Let this be a community where collaboration replaces silos, and unity replaces fragmentation. Together, we are building a future where no child faces cancer alone — and no voice goes unheard.
